Wine 101: Aussie Posse

In this class, we will explore the Land Down Under and find out why we are so in love with the country of Australia, its culture, and more importantly, its wine.

What is Australia Known for, You Ask?

If you said Shiraz and Chardonnay, you would be correct, these two varietals make up 44% of this country’s wine production.  However, Australia is also focusing on Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Semillon. In this class, Tim O’Hare will deliver an engaging PowerPoint presentation along with serving up some Shrimp on the Barbie. So, bring your family and friends to an enjoyable evening of a tasting that will make you wanna sing “Waltzing Matilda.”

This Wine 101 class will be held at the School Wednesday April 12th, 2023  6:30 – 8:00 PM 

The Charm City Wine School is now offering Wine 101 Classes that spans the vino globe. These fun & informative classes feature 3 to 4 wines featuring New World and Old-World Wines. Classes are $30 per person and you will enjoy & experience wines from the most important wine regions.  Each class is 1½ hour in duration and light hors d’oeuvres are served along with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to get things started.
