Wine 101: Wines of Germany

Thirty years ago, if you asked a German winemaker about the style of his/her wines they would talk about their sweetness levels. However, today if you asked his winemaker son/daughter about the style of wines they are producing they would talk about the dryness of them.

Yes, much has changed since the last century, and here is your chance to explore and taste German wines that offer excitement and value. This class is about more than Riesling… Attendees will enjoy 4 wines from the Mosel, Rheingau,
Pfalz, and Nahe regions. It’s been said that German wine labels can be intimidating, however, they are also informative, educational as they will list the producer, vintage, and region. Also, German labels will state the quality level of the wine, the grape, the vineyard, and style.
