Spanish wine is the most popular on the planet, according to the latest international export figures, but few of the country’s vineyard owners will raise a glass to that news;  on average their vintages fetch less than a third of the price of those sold abroad by France. Spain is also the world’s second-largest exporter of wine in volume and third, in value.

We will taste 4 wines that will grow your appreciation of these Spanish treasures and also show you what you’ve been missing from one of the world’s best-kept secrets.

This Wine 101 class will be held at the School Wednesday August 23rd, 2023  6:30 – 8:00 PM 

The Charm City Wine School is now offering Wine 101 Classes that spans the vino globe. These fun & informative classes feature 3 to 4 wines featuring New World and Old-World Wines. Classes are $35 per person and you will enjoy & experience wines from the most important wine regions.  Each class is 1½ hour in duration and light hors d’oeuvres are served along with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to get things started.
