Wine 101 - An Introduction to Wine

Wine 101 – An Introduction to Wine is 9 hours of instruction culminating with a 1 hour exam.  An accelerated, one full day class is also offered as an alternative to three evening classes over 3 weeks.

Explore the foundations of wine through a structured and engaging curriculum covering the history, geography, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques of the world’s major wine regions.  The course will cover sensory evaluation of wine, pairing principles, production including sparkling & dessert wines.

This course consists of live, in-class instruction featuring guided tastings, study materials, quizzes, and a final exam. Upon successful completion, students receive a Certificate of Achievement.
